Black River Landing is located one block East of Broadway in Downtown Lorain. Free parking is available in the Downtown Area and at the festival site during most events. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to the events for your comfort!
Black River Nature Tours

Tickets for regularly scheduled river tours are $12.00 per person and $8.00 for children ages 12 and under.
New to the River Tours this year is a $2.00 discount if tickets are purchased 10 days in advance of trip!
River Tours will depart the Black River Landing Wharf located at 1355 Black River Parkway at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays June 26th to July 24th. Tours will depart from the Black River Landing on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. July 24th to August 15th. The tours will depart at 6:00 p.m. from August 21st to September 26th and at 5:30 p.m. on October 16th and 23rd at 2:30 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. on October 12th and 19th
Walk on tours depart from the Jackalope guest dock Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. beginning June 26th to August 8th and at 7:30 p.m. August 16th to September 7th.

or by calling (440) 204-2269.
You can also join a walk on boat tour during the International Festival held June 28-30 and Port Fest held on July 3rd. Festival tours are 45 minuteslong and cost $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for ages 6-12 and children age 5 and under are free accompanied by a paying adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. Passengers must be at least 30 lbs to come on board.

Schedule your Black River Nature tour group trip aboard one of two Lorain Port Authority Shuttle boats. Each boat holds up to 17 passengers for a total of 34 passengers per group.

A Taste of History
7/27/2013 - Black River Landing, 421 Black River Lane, Lorain, Oh 44052The Black River Historical Society of Lorain, Ohio is sponsoring A Taste of History on Saturday, July 27 from 3:00pm to 10:00pm at Lorain’s famous festival site, Black River Landing, located just east of Broadway at 421 Black River Lane. This event has been a summer favorite, bringing the community together for food and wine since 2007.
This year is no different, as the event will, again, feature several Ohio Wineries. Wine Tasting tickets are $10.00, which buys guests a souvenir wine glass and five tastings. Food vendors will be on hand as well. Overall admission is free!
If you come for the wine you will stay for the cars. The LoCoBrits (Lorain County British Car Club) will host a British Car Cruise-In, showcasing their antique automobiles. Also, guests can take history home when they visit vendors featuring local arts, crafts, and antiques.
No event at Black River Landing would be complete without musical entertainment. This year, A Taste of History welcomes Music on a Mission and GNT Jazz (Witherspoon and Moore). Join the Black River Historical Society at this quality, community event rain or shine. For more details, refer to contact information above.
