After much anticipation, The Lorain Port Authority is happy to announce the arrival of the Jet Express IV at Black River Landing!

After years of planning and support from U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton (D-13), the Ohio Department of Transportation and federal funding, the Port's newest attraction has come into fruition.

Since its inception over 20 years ago, the Jet Express (Put-in-Bay Boat Line Company) prides itself as the, "Fastest Way to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island." Known for its safe, sleek, fast and comfortable ride, the Jet Express has succeeded in providing the highest grade "Passenger-Only" experience available to the Lake Erie islands in all weather conditions, reaching speeds up to 40 mph.

With the addition of Jet Express IV, a variety of Excursion Adventure Cruises will be offered from the Black River Landing. Jet Express IV will make Friday evening voyages into downtown Cleveland for Indians games and other exciting festivals and events. Hop aboard for an Island Hopping Adventure to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island on summer Saturdays, or choose the relaxing Sunday Lazy-Day River Cruise and Wednesday Winetasting Sunset Cruise, offered throughout the summer.

After Labor Day, Jet Express IV will begin its Game Day Shuttle to the Browns home football games. When not on a scheduled cruise, the Jet Express will be available for private charter. For complete schedule and fare information clink the link below.
