Lakeside Landing

Located along Lake Erie on Lakeside Avenue, this park is the perfect setting for an evening sunset. Lakeside Landing has two pavilions available for public use and several park benches and shady areas to sit and absorb the “best lakefront view” in Lorain. The pavilions are equipped with two 110-volt outlets each and one charcoal grill, along with lighting and trash receptacles. Permanent restrooms are located on the west end of Lakeside Landing, adjacent to Riverside Park. Special provisions are made for Port Authority events.

Lakeside Landing hosts the Lorain Port Authority’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration. The Lorain Lighthouse is illuminated every evening from 7-10:30 P.M. and can be viewed very clearly from Lakeside Landing. Visit our calendar for scheduled events at the park.
