Marine Patrol

Our Marine Patrol program consists of four Marine Officers that are current or retired Police Officers from the Lorain Police Department. The program is funded by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources - Division of Watercraft, in conjunction with the Lorain Port Authority and City of Lorain to provide safety and education for boaters on Lorain's waterfront.

The Marine Officers work full-time during the summer season enforcing boating laws and providing education on safe boating.
